DIRTY BLONDE
Custom and Small-Run Pret-a-Porter with a Focus on Sustainability and Fabulousness
Dirty Blonde was started in 2014 by Allison Leigh to offer fun, unique clothing rooted in upcycling and flirty, subversive style. Every piece is imagined by Allison and either handcrafted by her or sewn locally by talented professionals, blending playful design with thoughtful, sustainable practices. The collection celebrates individuality and smart reuse—unexpected combinations, bold details, and quality construction—so you get clothing that feels personal, intentional, and made ethically. Fashion should be affordable, too!
Stand Out
Dirty Blonde specializes in coats and outerwear, as well as leisurewear, separates, and fun to wear dresses. We also do custom work, having made everything from men’s suits for a band, wedding Kurtas, drapery, exotic dancer costumes, and a plethora of Burning Man and related festival costumes. Our collections prioritize meticulous hand-finishing, small-batch production, and unconventional materials, so every piece bears subtle variations and artisanal details that make it genuinely one-of-a-kind. We use leftover fabric, clothing, vintage textiles and trims, even bedding and jewelry! From responsibly sourced materials and reclaimed fabrics to careful patterning and bespoke touches, each garment is designed to be a statement. Please contact us with custom inquiries.
Dirty Blonde fashions are both responsible AND vogue. WE aim to create stylish new silhouettes and textures while staying sustainable and true to the philosophy of slow fashion. Our latest offerings feature cropped jackets and hoodies, faux fur coats and ponchos, and soon: handbags! Look out for some flirtatious dresses and tops for spring/summer 2026. Check back often to see what’s new! Visit our shop on Etsy to purchase ready-to-wear items, we will be updating frequently.
